1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using BookingWizard ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. BookingWizard is operated by an individual as a sole proprietor. By using this Service, you acknowledge that you are contracting with an individual, not a corporate entity.

2. Description of Service

BookingWizard provides scheduling and calendar management services through integration with Google Calendar. The Service allows users to manage appointments, display availability, and automate booking processes.

3. Google Calendar Integration

By using our Service, you grant BookingWizard permission to access your Google Calendar data as described in our Privacy Policy. This access is limited to:

  • Viewing calendar events to determine availability
  • Creating new events for bookings and appointments
  • Google Meet integration for adding Meet IDs to your bookings

You may revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • Ensuring you have the right to connect any calendars you integrate
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Any content or data you manage through our Service
  • Verifying all bookings and calendar entries are correct

5. Service Limitations

BookingWizard relies on Google Calendar API and is subject to Google's terms and rate limitations. We are not responsible for service interruptions caused by Google API limitations or changes.

6. Intellectual Property

The BookingWizard service, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to your calendar data and content.

7. Payments and Subscriptions

  • Trial Period: Both plans include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period.
  • Billing: Payments are processed through PayPal. You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for your selected plan.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations made before the end of the billing cycle will stop future charges.
  • Refunds: All subscription fees are non-refundable. If you cancel, you will not receive a refund for the current billing period.
  • Plan Changes: Upgrading to a higher tier will be prorated.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

When you cancel your account:

  • Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
  • Your Google Calendar connection will be revoked
  • We will not retain copies of your data beyond this period
  • You may request manual deletion of your data at any time by contacting support

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • We are not responsible for any calendar conflicts, missed appointments, or scheduling errors
  • You are solely responsible for verifying all bookings and calendar entries

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • BookingWizard is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied
  • We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • We are not responsible for any data loss, scheduling errors, or calendar conflicts
  • In no event shall BookingWizard be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the six months preceding the claim
  • You acknowledge that you are using this Service at your own risk and that you are responsible for verifying all bookings and calendar entries

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may also terminate your account at any time through your account settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through our Service or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
